If your doing a reinstall you could send them to another computer if you have one or to a friend if thats an option, otherwise you`ll have to print them out or save them on a disc. After re-install you won`t lose your e-mail address but will have to set up your account again. Take a note of the present settings. If its just a restore you are doing you won`t lose them but your settings may change to a previous date if they have been changed since that restore point.

Hi Gabi_b;

welcome to our forums, but I need to say two things:

1. You posted your english question in the German section of our forum system and

2. This forum is more for discussions / questions regarding BOINC problems in combination with any OS;

For more on your particular problem see this Microsoft Helppage
Microsoft Knowledgebase Articel 270670

(because of problems viewing this page with Firefox I recommend InternetExplorer *but only for this link only*)

Cheers
-Jonathan

Thread moved from the German to the English section of the board.

hm -
using the above stated Knowledgebase entry,
you could have reached the same goal without having to obtain some shareware....

Anyway - you're welcome;

Otoh. a third party web page might have had the recommendation to switch to a better, more secure mail client ;-) No such recommendation on MicroSoft web sites I bet.
